We are living in this crazy time, it seems to be getting crazier and crazier by the moment.
GOD brought me to a verse, I have read many times today I processed it differently.
Happy Friday!
This morning I am sitting in our back yard, have a cup of coffee, SON rising, birds Chirping, the trees bristling in the wind it almost feels perfect - Calm & Peaceful.
I will be honest we have tribulation all around us and in many areas, but there is also PEACE.
My question to you, do we need to find the peace or do we need to take time to see the peace?
Is it our circumstances that creates peace or what we are doing to get peace or is it Who we are seeking?
From the scripture anove the Greek for “you may have”
- 1 to have, i.e. to hold
1 to have (hold) in the hand, in the sense of wearing, to have (hold) possession of the mind (refers to alarm, agitating emotions, etc.), to hold fast keep, to have or comprise or involve, to regard or consider or hold as
2 to have i.e. own, possess
1 external things such as pertain to property or riches or furniture or utensils or goods or food etc.
2 used of those joined to any one by the bonds of natural blood or marriage or friendship or duty or law etc, of attendance or companionship
3 to hold one's self or find one's self so and so, to be in such or such a condition
4 to hold one's self to a thing, to lay hold of a thing, to adhere or cling to
1 to be closely joined to a person or a thing
This is what Jesus is promising us!
*Check out the Greek of “be of good cheer”
- to be of good courage, be of good cheer
*How about the Greek “overcome”
- to conquer
1 to carry off the victory, come off victorious
1 of Christ, victorious over all His foes
2 of Christians, that hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes, and temptations and persecutions
3 when one is arraigned or goes to law, to win the case, maintain one's cause
I think sometimes we get to wrapped up and we may not read Gods word, today read it, hear it then live it.
