Who gets acknowledgment for every good thing? Philemon 1:6
Yesterday was Thanksgiving; we have much to be thankful for. And many good things in our life.
Would you mind sharing some of the things that you are thankful for or some good things?
If you had friends and family around, I am sure you thanked them for their attendance, or if you were at someone's house, you thanked them for hosting and for the food.
"that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."
Philemon 1:6 NKJV

In versePhilemon 1:6, "that the sharing of your faith may become effective."
This word effective means active, is the sharing of our faith active when we talk about ourselves or share about Jesus?
"by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."

How many times was Jesus Christ thanked for the good things in your life? Was it just a prayer for the meal or a simple passing thought?
We are blessed to have so many things in America, but not always mentioned at times is our freedom to worship the true King!
We attended a friend's home, where it was Jesus all the way through; there were a majority of believers and a handful on the fence or not at all believers.
Because our hosts at every moment acknowledged every good thing which we had was from Jesus Christ, it was a continual topic of the evening what Jesus was doing.
And as a result, we were able to see Philemon 1:6 come alive. Towards the end of the evening, an older man, beforehand our host, had told us he was not a believer.
The older man his ears perked up, and the spirit was moving, as conversations around the house involved Jesus Christ. He was talking to believers and asking questions.
"Every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus"
By the end of the evening, This man gave his life to Christ, talking about being thankful!
Wow!!
It was awesome!!
